It’s Sunday.
Delia had to go to work for a few hours in the morning. She also watered some plants, went grocery shopping, and cooked exactly what I had a hankering for, with exactly the right meat-to-tortilla-to-toppings ratios, in addition to other chores.

I did a few things of value. None of which included washing my hair or bathing. My main job, of course, is selecting what we watch on TV: today we watched a couple of real winners! One I wished we’d seen on the big screen, and another served as preparation for one we might still be able to catch in the theater.
It was a beautiful spring day. Maybe we should have gone outside and been active in it, but it’s been a long time since we had time home together to indulge in a two-movie day without any interruptions. We rarely even get through ONE movie, but these ones today were just what the doctor ordered: both entertaining and spiritually-nutritious, with rewarding twists we did not see coming that really put bonus cherries on top.
Mothers and Fathers days are coming up. I feel anxious about those and other family things in the weeks to come. It is imperative I not fuck them up under the cancerous circumstances. They will not be two movie taco days. I will have to contribute something more than movie recommendations.
