May Day, 2002: the *official* opening of my members-only area on TastyTrixie.com.

Lots of reasons why this day is special. Today — in this year of 2025 — I’m not focusing on May 1st being the anniversary of that part of my work since it’s in limbo / not really functioning. Or maybe that IS how I’m celebrating: allowing for and accepting our paysites being shuttered on this day of labor rights activism and awareness. Because people should be properly compensated for their labor, and being your own boss but not paying yourself and your wife properly is unacceptable. So I guess we’re on strike to protest our boss (me) sucking ass.

We took a hasty walk in between other work stuff today. It was better than a picket line.

Our payment was fresh spring air, seeing beautiful things, and moving our bodies outside.

I’m still learning what it means to take a day off work. To rest. To recreate. To be rewarded for jobs well done, or just tried very hard at.
