Sometimes it seems like Delia is SUCH a perfect “good girl” with no character defects. Which might be why some of her weaknesses delight me. TV is one of her weaknesses – she enjoys spacing out and watching tv. Fortunately we enjoy the same kinds of movies and shows most of the time. Right now I’m especially delighted, though, by her desire to watch a particular kind of programming that I am less vulnerable to than she is: REALITY SHOWS.
I definitely like a lot of competition-style reality shows; we were really into Project Runway, for example. And we’ve dabbled in a few of the other interpersonal drama shows, like Flavor of Love and a couple seasons of Real Housewives, but I can’t really binge them with her because they wind up making me really depressed. Right now, though, I am more on board with the reality show we just dove into:

Delia *loves* it.
I like it too (BEST CLOTHES ever), but I wouldn’t be watching it if Delia weren’t requesting it.
There is something sweet and erotic about watching your wife consume television candy / junk food. I think hearing her request something sort of shameful — a guilty pleasure — is part of the charm.
