First time doing some barefoot wading on the beach this year.

Delia hasn’t had very many days off from her new job, so I’m glad we squeezed in some unplanned time on the sand. I’d wanted to avoid the bright sun and just walk down to the water and turn around to head back into the trees BUT we magically hit it right at low tide (and a super low tide, at that) with almost nobody around. We could not resist scampering around for an hour out there. With Mount Baker all covered with snow crowning her head to the north.
